Ukrspyrt looking to produce fuel ethanol until privatization

In Ukraine, the temporary managing director of Ukrspyrt wants to focus on fuel ethanol for export rather than potable ethanol while he waits for the parliament to approve the company’s privatization. Ideally, in his mind, the company’s 41 factories would be grouped into smaller companies of well performing and underperforming facilities that would then be sold off, forcing future investors to make good at the failing plants and thereby save the communities they currently support.
