Indonesia testing B20 in vehicle trial

October 20, 2015 |

In Indonesia, the government has begun road tests on B20 in advance of a further ramp up to the higher blend, not long after implementing B15 at the pump. The government also wants to see the national electricity supplier blend 30% biodiesel for power generation. The seven vehicles participating in the trial left Jakarta on Monday and are set to drive approximately 5,000km on B20 before returning to the starting point on Nov. 2. The cars will carry 3,500 liters of B20 with them for the trial.
