Indonesia gives the green light to roll out B20 at the pump in 2016

November 4, 2015 |

In Indonesia, B20 trials have been completed and have shown that vehicles tested had no problems running on the higher blends, making way for B20 to be implemented across the country next year as originally planned. Fuel consumption was shown to increase during the trials compared to pure fossil diesel, however. B20 will be sold with a subsidy of about 18 cents per liter, funded by the Indonesia Oil Palm Estate Fund that manages receipts from export levies on crude and processed palm oil.
