Digest Bioeconomy Index sheds 1.08 percent to 53.20 as advanced bio tumbles

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, fell 1.08 percent to  53.20 as advanced bio tumbled. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) soared 15.06 percent to $4.89, while Metabolix (MBLX) plunged 10.78 percent to $2.07. Among other equities, Dyadic (DYAI) shed 6.04 percent to $1.40. Overall, declines led advances by a 2 to 1 ratio for the day.
