Digest Bioeconomy Index slips 0.30 percent to 50.10 as chemicals fall

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, slipped 0.30 percent to 50.10 as chemicals fell. For the day, DuPont (DD) dumped 3.58 percent to 67.92, while Syngenta (SYT) shed 4.30 percent to $74.75.  Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) recovered 1.70 percent to $2.39. Overall, declines led advances by a 11 to 3 ratio for the day.
