Digest Bioeconomy Index dumps 1.63 percent to 49.94 as ethanol equities tank under sliding oil price pressure

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, dumped 1.63 percent to 49.94 as ethanol equities tanked under sliding oil price pressure. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) dropped 5.06 percent to $2.25, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) lost 8.86 percent to $3.91. Among other equities, Biox (BX.T) soared 34.43 percent to $0.82. Overall, declines led advances 13 to 1 for the day.
