Digest Bioeconomy Index slips 0.45 percent to 49.07 as advanced bio equities tumble

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, slipped 0.45 percent to 49.07 as advanced bio equities tumbled. For the day, BioAmber (BIOA) shed 5.34 percent to $5.49, while Amyris (AMRS) lost 5.96 percent to $1.42.  Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) dumped 13.75 percent to $0.41. Overall, declines led advances by a 4 to 3 ratio for the day.
