Digest Bioeconomy Index slips 1.16 percent to 48.50 as advanced bioequities tumble again

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, slipped 1.16 percent to 48.50 as advanced bioequities tumbled again. For the day, The Andersons (ANDE) dropped 5.31 percent to $27.45, while Amyris (AMRS) dumped 9.15 percent to $1.29.  Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) shed 6.28 percent to $1.79. Overall, declines led advances by a 3 to 1 ratio for the day.
