Digest Bioeconomy Index jumps 3.62 percent to 48.99 as advanced bio equities soar

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, jumped 3.62 percent to 48.99 as advanced bio equities soared. For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) jumped 12.72 percent to $1.95, while Aemetis (AMTX) upticked 11.21 percent to $2.38. Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) soared 19.29 percent to $0.48. Overall, advances led declines by a 13 to 1 ratio for the day.
