ADM may be stuck with dry corn mills in tough assets market

In Illinois, ADM may be stuck with the three dry corn mills it is thinking about potentially selling with few potential takers in the market considering the half billion dollar ticket price for two of the near facilities and the fact that Abengoa’s biofuel assets also recently came on the market. Though consolidation has been ongoing during the past year, with Green Plains and CHS picking up several new purchases, they were much smaller facilities than the ones ADM is looking to potentially offload.
