Kuwait National Petroleum Corporation launches biofuel production

In Kuwait, the country’s national petroleum corporation has commissioned biofuel production capacity of 42,000 barrels per day, the first of a series, at its Al-Ahmadi refinery in an effort to boost profits at the facility and comply with the company’s strategic environmental objectives for 2030. The project was first announced in 2011 as part of a larger investment including lower sulfur diesel refining capacity.
