Brazilian hydrous and anhydrous ethanol prices hold steady as buyers wait for crush to start

In Brazil, CEPEA says both hydrous and anhydrous ethanol prices have remained steady due to a lack of demand as buyers wait until the start of the next crush to make major purchases. Typically prices rise during the inter-harvest period but retailers appear to be sufficiently supplied to make it through the tight supply period. Both types of ethanol saw prices rise on a half of a percent on the week following Carnival and the shortened trading week.
