Digest Bioeconomy Index jumps 1.25 percent to 53.60 as advanced bio rallies on TerraVia’s progress

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, jumped 1.25 percent to 53.60 as advanced bio rallied on TerraVia’s progress up the charts. For the day, TerraVia (SZYM) soared 20.80 percent to $2.73, while Amyris (AMRS) fell back 5.00 percent to $1.14.  Among other equities, Aemetis (AMTX) gained 2.83 percent to $2.18. Overall, advances led declines by a 4 to 3 ratio for the day.
