March 28, 2016 |

In India, Infosys is donating 43,000 biofuel cookstoves to 21,500 families in Karnataka’s Koppal district as part of a wider project that teams with a local NGO to provide training and awareness building to encourage uptake of the cleaner technology. The first stoves were distributed on Saturday and will continue to be passed out over the next nine months. The type of biofuel nor the feedstock to be used wasn’t included in the story. The company itself is seeking to go carbon neutral by 2018.
