NBB confident it can achieve policy goals despite election year

In Washington, the National Biodiesel Board is seeking the transition of the blending credit to a producers credit and that the credit be extended beyond the end of the year when the blending credit expires. It believes that despite being an election year the association has a good shot at moving its proposals forward to help solidify the biodiesel market for US-produced fuel against increased competition from imports that currently benefit from the blending credit.
