EPA takes 2017 RFS rule to OMB for final review

In Washington, the Environmental Protection Agency has taken its 2017 renewable fuel standard proposal to the White House Office of Management and Budget in the final step before it is published for public review. The EPA’s administrator promised during a congressional hearing in February that the agency is working hard to get RFS rules published in time to be useful for the market, rather than the backlog that saw it release 2014-2016 rules simultaneously last May.
