April 28, 2016 |

In India, a fire began at Biomax Fuels Limited with 11 of its 15 storage tanks caught up in the blaze. Two fire engines with chemical foam were borrowed from Hindustan Petroleum and Eastern Naval Command while five standard fire trucks were also on scene to battle the fire. Six oil tankers also caught fire, but it’s not clear if they were biofuel feedstock or fossil oil. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident.
