Family Express to receive $789,000 to upgrade 45 blender pumps across Indiana

In Indiana, convenience store and fuel retailer Family Express will receive more than $789,000 through an Indiana blender pump program to bring online 45 dispensers at 37 stations in the state. The Hoosier Homegrown Fuels Blender Pump Program, jointly funded by the U.S.Department of Agriculture’s Farm Services Agency and the Indiana Corn Marketing Council, provided the funding for the pumps.

Family Express is planning to offer 45 blender pumps, capable of offering higher ethanol such as E15, in Jasper, Lake, Laporte, Porter, St. Joseph, Starke, Tippecanoe and White counties. Thirty­-four of the stations already offer E85 and will be adding E15. Meanwhile, three stations will be brand new and also offer E15 and E85.
