Chief Industries buys Cornhusker Ethanol plant in Nebraska

In Nebraska, Chief Industries has bought the 50 million gallon per year Cornhusker Ethanol plant in Lexington that the company hopes it will be able to expand to take advantage of growing opportunities for ethanol. It’s looking to create jobs and further support the local corn and livestock industries. Chief already owns the state’s first dry-mill ethanol plant. The company’s CEO praised the Cornhusker Ethanol team for its experience and knowledge that will make a strong contribution to the overall group.
