New York state county to supply collected FOG to Buffalo Biodiesel

May 30, 2016 |

In New York state, Tompkins County Solid Waste Division has opened a new fats, oils and grease (FOG) collection station at its Recycling & Solid Waste Center where the public can drop off its waste rather than dumping the FOG down the sink. The FOG will then be collected by Buffalo Biodiesel to produce fuel. The company was established in 2005 and picks up UCO from all over the Erie and Niagara county areas at no cost to oil suppliers.
