New York Harbor ethanol prices fall to discount against second-month

In New York state, oversupply in the New York Harbor region continues to weigh on prices with front-month prices falling to a 1.75 cents per gallon discount against the second-month. Stocks in the East Coast region were 492,000 barrels higher the week ending July 9 than during the previous year at 7.838 million barrels, up 214,000 barrels on the week. The last time the market saw a front-month/second-month discount was June 20 but that was only for one day.
