Malaysia delays B10 policy to later in the year but won’t say when

In Malaysia, the government says that it remains committed to implementing the B10 policy this year but it will happen later than planned. At first implementation was set for July, then August, and now sometime before year’s end. Rather than weigh on prices as expected, due to the delay, the government’s reaffirmed commitment helped to support prices and reverse a negative trend. Increased soy oil prices in the US also helped to pull palm oil futures out of their rut.
