Alliance BioEnergy Plus moves forward with seeking DOE funding for cellulosic JP-8

In California, Alliance BioEnergy Plus, Inc. announced that following discussions with the Department of Energy (DOE), it has submitted a full Application responsive to the DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for the design and construction of a Demonstration Scale Manufacturing Plant for the production of Aviation Biofuels (JP-8) from cellulosic biomass such as yard waste, agriculture leftovers and woodchips, capable of being used in commercial jet aviation as well as military applications.
