September 12, 2016 |

In Thailand, three welders were killed in an explosion at the Thai Ethanol Power plant in Non Sila district while they were repairing the cover of one of three wastewater tanks. Sparks from the welding are thought to have ignited biogas escaping from the wastewater tanking, creating the explosion that killed the three men, but forensic police are investigating further. Two of the bodies were found lying next to the tank while the third was on the tank’s roof.
