US District Court says Minnesota’s B10 doesn’t conflict with RFS

October 3, 2016 |

In Minnesota, a judge with the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota ruled that the state’s B10 blending mandate does not conflict with the Renewable Fuel Standard as claimed by the American Petroleum Institute, American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers, Minnesota Automobile Dealers Association, Minnesota Trucking Association and Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers as far back as April 2015. The state produces enough biodiesel to supply 95% of the B10 demand and 55% of B20 demand. The plaintiffs have 30 days to appeal the ruling.
