Nebraska company seeks to revolutionize DDGs with cubes and pellets

October 17, 2016 |

In Nebraska, Platte Valley Distillers has secured a patented process to produce cubed and pelleted dried distillers grain without any binding or filler components added that lengthens the shelf life and makes it easier to handle DDGs that can be difficult to handle in bulk. The company is also licensing its patented manufacturing process so that others can better manage their DDGs supplies to access markets further afield. In the pellet and cubed version, shipping and transport becomes much cheaper and easier as well.
