Navy’s bad ass reputation appears safe using algae, according to the Daily Show

In Washington, you know the Navy’s attempt to transition to a green fleet with algae-based biofuels has really hit mainstream when it is profiled on the Daily Show. Even the Secretary of the Navy got front and center with the comedy news show’s reporter during the interview where myths were dispelled about the switch to biofuels, such as whether the Navy would remain “bad ass” using algae fuels and not going all hippy or wimpy for dropping fossil fuels. The answer was yes, bad ass continues to ensue.
