Digest Bioeconomy Index drops 1.50 percent to 57.86 as advanced bio slumps

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, dropped 1.50 percent to 57.86 as advanced bio slumped. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) dumped 13.89 percent to $0.23, while BioAmber (BIOA) plunged 15.63 percent to $4.05. Among other stocks, TerraVia (TVIA) plummeted 19.36 percent to $1.25. Overall, declines led advances by a 3 to 2 ratio for the day.
