Velocys enables modular gas-to-liquids and biomass-to-liquids plants to convert unconventional, remote and problem gas and waste biomass into valuable, drop-in liquid fuels.

After 15 years and some $300 million in investment, Velocys technology is headed for scale. In one direction, there’s the Red Rock Biofuels project which will be producing cost-competitive military aviation jet fuels. The Red Rock refinery, slated to begin construction soon, will convert approximately 140,000 dry tons of woody biomass into at least 12 million gallons per year of renewable, liquid transportation fuels.
