In Germany, CropEnergies expects the European ethanol market to improve enough that it has raised its revenue forecast for the second time this year through February, this time by 5%, an announcement welcomed by investors who boosted its shares by 7%. Revenues jumped during the August through November quarter by 28% in part thanks to better ethanol prices, though the company didn’t report the reasons behind the improved results.
