Judge signs off on Abengoa’s sale of Cadiz biodiesel plant to Cepsa

In Spain, a judge has approved Abengoa’s sale of its biodiesel plant in San Roque, Cadiz to Cepsa for EUR8 million but also left open a period of 10 days from the date of the decision on December 30 for other potential buyers to make offers for the facility. The existing staff of 51 get to keep their jobs with the handover to Cepsa. Abengoa invested EUR95 million in its construction and currently valuates the plant EUR75 million.
