Vivergo Fuels highlights challenges for EU farmers without biofuels market

In the UK, Vivergo Fuels’ managing director published a passionate plea to European policymakers in Politico to take into consideration the impact on farmers should conventional biofuels be phased out. With expected increased competition from US and Canadian ethanol as a result of TTIP and CETA, he argues that farmers need policy support more than ever to ensure that the biofuel market remains a viable one to absorb their crops and add value as well as boost availability of important byproducts such as animal feed.
