NewGreen Technology may soon get provincial approval for fiber supplies

January 24, 2017 |

In Canada, the Newfoundland and Labrador’s provincial government is expected to soon make an offer to NewGreen Technology for access to the forest lands the company is seeking in order to develop its C$185 million saw mill and biodiesel facility that will use the waste from the milling process. The biofuel will likely be exported to Europe. Though the forestry minister said an official decision on granting the fiber required was days away, the same was through to happen in September as well but didn’t happen.
