In Washington, a freshman congressman from Florida is looking for co-sponsors to a bill that would completely eliminate the Environmental Protection Agency effective December 31, 2018, claiming that the costs of environmental compliance are too much of a burden on small businesses. When he first entered the state legislature in 2010, he sought to eliminate ethanol blending and finally achieved getting the bill passed in 2013.
