January 31, 2017 |

In Illinois, RIN prices continue to fall as uncertainty over what the Trump Administration will do regarding the Environmental Protection Agency and the Renewable Fuels Standard in particular. Prices for 2016 and 2016 D6 RINs fell to a 14-month low on Tuesday to 45 cents, down 7.5 cents, while D4 RINs for 2016 and 2017 fell 4.5 cents to 85 cents and 97 cents respectively. Ethanol prices have also slipped and are likely to fall more following the Energy Information Agency’s midweek reporting that is expected to show further building of stocks.
