Debate over Delaware ethanol transit terminal project heats up

In Delaware, the DNREC and Delaware City Refinery are asking the Coastal Zone Industrial Control Board to dismiss five of seven arguments lodged by citizen groups in opposition of a plan to boost ethanol transit capacity five-fold that would elevate the facility to a major transportation hub for the region. A hearing is set for Monday when both sides will argue their cases, leaving the board 60 days to decide on the future of the project.
