Roxal Bioenergy says it is not responsible for fishkill

In the Philippines, Roxal Bioenergy insists that its ethanol plant was not responsible for the fishkill near Pontevedra but test results are still pending that would confirm the company’s innocence. The company says that it has implemented long-term plans and programs to protect the environment in an effort to eliminate fishkills and other potential negative impacts of ethanol production, claiming instead that it was naturally occurring phenomenon that caused the fishkill.
