REX American Resources to invest up to $30 million in ethanol production capacity expansion

In Ohio, REX American Resources said in an SEC filing that it will invest up to $30 million to expand production capacity by 50% at two of its 100 million gallon per year ethanol plants this year with an eye on export markets such as China and Mexico. One Earth Energy LLC in Gibson City, Illinois and NuGen Energy LLC in Marion, South Dakota have been tapped for the capital investments that already started last year and have received EPA approval for expansion.
