Boho continues slide, hits 71-week low

In Illinois, the Boho factor between heating oil blendstock and soybean oil prices fell to a 71-week low, falling more than 25% during the last nine sessions alone. With more than 55% of US biodiesel produced from soy oil, futures prices are a key factor in calculating biodiesel margins. A record soybean harvest mixed with expectation of increased soy plantings this year have weighed on soy oil prices while shrinking heating oil stocks are pushing those prices higher.
