Zimbabwe’s national oil infrastructure company in talks with Triangle over ethanol JV

In Zimbabwe, the National Oil Infrastructure Company of Zimbabwe is sourcing ethanol from sugar producer Triangle in the absence of supply from Green Fuel but only as a short-term measure. The parastatal is in negotiations with the company for a joint venture that would produce and supply ethanol in an effort to reduce or eliminate supply chain challenges that has forced the government to cut the E15 blending mandate to 5% due to shortage of ethanol.
