Pinal Energy in $10 million lawsuit with Southwest Gas over un-built pipeline

In Arizona, Pinal Energy is in a $10 million lawsuit with Southwest Gas over the company’s alleged failure to build a gas pipeline that is meant to supply the ethanol plant. The company has paid more than $8 million for a pipeline that was never built, though it was meant to be back in 2008. The figure does not include interest. Whether the case is regulatory or legal has yet to be determined but the dispute is active in both superior court as well as the state’s regulator.
