Novozymes undertakes $36M expansion in Blair, Nebraska

In Nebraska, Novozymes announced a $36M expansion of its enzyme manufacturing plant in Blair, Nebraska – an investment to increase capacity for the production of enzymes for biofuels in the US and globally. At the same time, we are also celebrating five years of successful operation in the state thanks to strong partnerships with local, regional and state officials and community leaders.

“With private investments like this one,” Novozymes stated in a release, “the US biofuels market continues to grow and deliver more fuel than ever before – 15B gallons in 2016 alone.”
