Dutch duo develop and test algae-fuel wood-frame motorcycle

In the Netherlands, two men in search of a more sustainable world have created a wood-framed motorcycle that runs on algae oil. One of the two recently published a book called “The Thick Algae” that aims to better understand the role of algae and algae-based fuels in a sustainable economy. And to keep the connection with algae even closer, the test run of the motorcycle was done on a beach as it was done in the early 20^th century.
