In Argentina, Louis Dreyfus’ CEO said he is confident the country will win its anti- antidumping case against the US currently under investigation by the US Department of Commerce. It is seeking to reopen the American market to its biodiesel after what he called “unjust” claims that the country sells its fuel below the cost of production. Last fall, Argentina was successful in demonstrating to Europe that it doesn’t dump fuel so the anti-dumping duties were dropped.
