Brazilian hydrous ethanol sales jumped 14% during H1 August

In Brazil, hydrous ethanol sales rose more than 14% during the first half of August compared to the previous two weeks at 644.28 million liters while anhydrous sales fell to 390.56 million liters from the 427.28 million liters sold during H2 July. Total ethanol sales held fairly steady at 1.03 billion liters compared to the 1.95 billion liters produced during H1 August, with only 77.5 million liters destined for export. Total ethanol production for the season through August 16 was 13.52 billion liters.
