In Vietnam, Tin Thanh Group, Tung Lam Company and Tocontap have shown interest in potentially operating the Dung Quat Biofuel ethanol plant when it comes back online later this year, along with two other ethanol plants that were never brought into commercial production due to lack of demand. All three are meant to be online by January 1 when the E5 mandate comes into effect. Thai shareholder Toyo and Licogi of Binh Phuoc Project confirmed its willingness to continue operating the facility. Singapore’s Thai Son Investment JSC and Mepcom Offshore & Marine have shown interest in Phu Tho Biofuel.
