UW-Madison a bastion of support for bioeconomy entrepreneurs

In Wisconsin, the University of Wisconsin-Madison professor who developed and founded Lactic Solutions that was recently bought by Lallemand Biofuels & Distilled Spirits says the university’s support network for entrepreneurs and tools available from early stage development were key to successfully launching the company. He said many aren’t aware of the opportunities provided through its accelerator program, entrepreneur training and collaborations with other institutions such as the Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center that can help dreamers get their idea to market.
