Air Liquide Engineering & Construction to design and build Cargill’s Wichita biodiesel plant

In Kansas, Air Liquide Engineering & Construction has been commissioned by Cargill to build a seventh biodiesel plant, located in Wichita that will produce 60 million gallons per year with commissioning seen as soon as January 2019. Air Liquid is looking to extend its footprint in the US through its long-term relationship with Cargill, following market expansion in Asia and Europe. The company’s Lurgi technology focuses on providing efficiency, lower OPEX and environmental footprint, as well as high fuel quality.
