February 5, 2018 |

In Nebraska, the state’s Department of Environmental Quality has awarded Integrated Recycling $35,495 to help it un-package 2,000 pounds per hour of outdated beverages that will be transformed by AltEn into ethanol and methane, the latter of which will be used to fuel the boilers for ethanol distillation. The project should be online in the next six months. The company hopes having the option to dispose the beverages for recycling will help divert them from landfills.
