Tell us about your company and it’s role in the Advanced Bioeconomy.

Sainc Energy is a developer of 2G and the growing 3G biomass refinery systems. Through development of solvents and catalysts, it is developing processes for production of high value biochemicals, biofuels and biosugars

We expect to launch a demo plant for a bio refinery process in the next 12 months.. concomitant with this development, we have developed a strong design and engineering capability to produce a very cost effective equipment production system, primarily out of India and China.

Tell us about your role and what you are focused on in the next 12 months.

The company aims to become a leading technology provider. The technology is very suitable for advanced economies but for the developing counties of Asia and Africa, the technology is very pertinent.

What do you feel are the most important milestones the industry must achieve in the next 5 years?   

The industry must develop a rapid testing demo system where latest developments in catalysts, processes and enzymes can be tested.

If you could snap your fingers and change one thing about the Advanced Bioeconomy, what would you change? 

Reluctance of Investors

Of all the reasons that influenced you to join the Advanced Bioeconomy industry, what single reason stands out for you as still being compelling and important to you?   

The possibility of providing distributed energy, chemicals and fuel possibilities to remote communities. The bright future of our planet based on reducing substantially the reliance on fossil fuels.

Born in India. Have lived in London for 52 years.
